Hi,
I tried BB Black again on Rawhide, with compose 20170223.

In short GNOME/LXDE still not showing up after boot.

I did not find anything useful in the LXDE image boot log, but see many
tilcdc error in Workstation image boot log like the following
tilcdc 4830e000.lcdc: failed to allocate buffer with size 8294400

Most of the console logs are recorded to the following link

https://zsun.fedorapeople.org/pub/bugs/Fedora-Workstation-armhfp-Rawhide-20170223-log.txt

I find this link when googling for the tilcdc line
http://www.spinics.net/lists/dri-devel/msg102380.html

Is this relevant?

HTH.

Hi,
I tried BB Black again on Rawhide, with compose 20170223.
We've had issues with the display in the past, did it work
okay after the hardware issue was corrected[1]? In my experience
testing it would crash really quickly using a GUI.

In short GNOME/LXDE still not showing up after boot.
We allocate 256M of RAM for CMA on the Workstation and 192M on LXDE.
I don't think that leaves enough for a GUI. You can try to tweak the
CMA allocation in the kernel args but we had issues with less.
Minimal works as expected (aside from current rawhide issues).

Actually I remember it clearly. At that time we have two issue: color
issue, and system hang when using mouse.
Since I see in bug 1223618 Peter said this should be fixed in kernel
4.9, so I just want to verify if it is fixed.

Thanks for clarify this. I will try this later when I am free.
