Hi,

I'm looking for contact with people trying to play with Linux on this box.
Provided by Tronsmart image with Ubuntu 14 is quite old. I'm trying to find
a details necessary to start use Fedora rawhide on this box like:

- how to access to serial console?
On http://www.cnx-software.com/2014/11/07/tronsmart-draco-aw80-unboxing/
<http://www.linkedin.com/redir/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecnx-software%2Ecom%2F2014%2F11%2F07%2Ftronsmart-draco-aw80-unboxing%2F&urlhash=dX-l&_t=tracking_anet>
I
found that theoretically on board are UART port pins to which is is
attached console but before I'll start playing with soldering serial port
it would be good to know someone done this already (?)

- I've not been playing so far with u-boot. Cannot find details how to
setup multiboot u-boot. I want to start preparing new rootfs on SD card or
on attached HD (this box has SATA port)

- how it is with general compatibility of this box with other HW using A80?
and/or is it will be possible to use generic fedora packages with kernel as
well?

The allwinner A80 SoC is not really supported, so getting Fedora
to run on it is tricky (upstream's u-boot support for this SoC is not complete).

Hans

Thanks for reply :)
Do you know maybe what exactly needs to be done here to complete this
support?
Temporary I can try to use u-boot from linaro if u-bioot can provide boot
menu (can someone point on doc about multi boot u-boot setup?).
How about fedora kernel 4.8? is it ready to be used on A80 SoC?

Someone needs to write dram controller initialization code, so that we can build
the SPL for the A80.

There is some support on the kernel side, I think the most important
bits are there.
