There is a uboot for it:

/usr/share/uboot/orangepi_zero_plus2/sunxi-spl.bin

So give it a try.

what is the status of OrangePi support within fedora these days ?
do you have any feedback regarding these boards ?

The support for most of them is reasonable. There's no accelerated
graphics but with F-29 most should have output on the HDMI. Things
like network, USB, storage should in most cases be reasonable although
I have no idea about WiFi/Bluetooth or Audio, so YMMV there but I'd
welcome reports of status there.
